Yarn-Tentacle Octopus Hand-Carved Wooden Figurine – Coastal Decor
Yarn-Tentacle Octopus Hand-Carved Wooden Figurine – Coastal Decor
Bring a splash of quirky ocean magic to your home with this delightfully tactile wood and yarn octopus friend! 🐙
The Inspiration
I wanted to capture the playful intelligence of the octopus while adding a cozy, unexpected twist. By combining the rustic charm of hand-chiseled wood with the soft, inviting texture of tightly wrapped yarn tentacles, I created a little sea creature that feels both structural and snuggly. He sits perfectly on a desk or tray, always keeping a watchful, wide-eyed gaze over your daily adventures.
Why You'll Love It
- Artisan Craftsmanship: Carefully hand-carved with beautiful, visible chisel marks and finished with uniquely flexible, yarn-wrapped tentacles that create a wonderful contrast in textures.
- Versatile Decor: Perfect as a whimsical shelf sitter, a conversation-starting centerpiece on your coffee table tray, or a quirky desk companion to brighten up your home office.
- Thoughtful Gifting: An unforgettable and joyful gift for ocean lovers, marine biologists, beach house owners, or anyone who adores eclectic, nautical-inspired handmade art.
The Details
- Materials: Hand-carved Wood, Non-Toxic Paint, Natural Yarn/Twine, Googly Eyes.
- Dimensions: Width: 12 cm (approx. 4.7 inches) | Height: 6.5 cm (approx. 2.5 inches).
